The Cardinals have unveiled their roster for next week’s Spring Breakout game, featuring 16 of the organization’s top 30 prospects. This event offers fans a preview of the club’s future talent.

In its inaugural edition, 71 of MLB Pipeline’s top 100 prospects participated in games across Arizona and Florida. Due to its success, MLB is bringing it back for a second year. This year’s event includes 16 games from March 13-16. The Cardinals will face the Miami Marlins on March 14 at 12:10 PM ET at Roger Dean Stadium, where they will play as the visiting team. The game will be broadcast locally on FanDuel Sports Network Midwest and available to out-of-market viewers via MLB.TV, the MLB app, and MLB.com.
Leading the Cardinals’ roster are top prospects JJ Wetherholt and Quinn Mathews, along with catcher Jimmy Crooks (No. 4) and third baseman Thomas Saggese (No. 5). The full Spring Breakout roster was shared by the Cardinals Player Development Twitter account.
