LATEST: Rams Reach Agreement With $44 million Pro Bowler On A Two Year Deal. Ranked Among Top Free Agency Moves

The Los Angeles Rams had a busy offseason with multiple roster changes. Two moves in particular—wide receiver Davante Adams’ contract and left tackle Alaric Jackson’s deal—have received high praise.

Adams signed a two-year, $44 million contract, while Jackson secured a three-year, $57.7 million deal, both of which were ranked among the top early free agency moves.

A six-time Pro Bowler, Adams made one of the most impactful moves of free agency.Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams“After spending the last three seasons in Las Vegas and New York, Adams now finds himself in an ideal situation with a top-tier coach, quarterback, and organization,” wrote Marcus Mosher of The 33rd Team on March 13. “Few players this offseason have landed in a better position than Adams as he looks to finish his career on a high note.”

Additionally, the Rams mitigated their financial risk by signing Adams to a short-term, market-value contract.

In 2024, Adams recorded 85 receptions for 1,065 yards and 8 touchdowns. He has surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in five consecutive seasons and only fell short of 900 yards three times in his career, last missing that mark in 2017. His best season came in 2022 with the Raiders, when he exceeded 1,500 yards.

Adams has also been durable, missing no more than two games in a season since 2019—before 2024. He will step in to replace Cooper Kupp, who had 67 receptions for 710 yards and 6 touchdowns in 12 games last season.
