Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver, openly admits to having a habit of excessive cursing during games. In a candid interview, he shared, “I get on the field, I’m cursing all game,” making him even more relatable to fans. His unfiltered language on the field has sparked discussions about his place among the NFL’s top trash talkers, adding to his electrifying presence during games.
More than just a playmaker, Smith is also a vocal competitor. While trash talk is common in football, he takes it to another level—something Eagles fans fully embrace.During an appearance on Thursday’s episode of the podcast 7 PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony, the former Alabama star was asked that question.
“I’d say yes,” Smith responded. “But at the same time, the receiver in me thinks about other guys who didn’t get the same opportunities I had. Take Julio (Jones), for example—he was in a run-heavy offense, yet he was the only real passing option and still accomplished what he did. Then you had (Amari) Coop(er), who was just dominating defenders. And of course, there’s Justin Blackmon, who won the Biletnikoff Award twice. Players like that deserve recognition too.”
