Terrace Marshall Jr. is on the move once again—this time landing with the Philadelphia Eagles on a one-year contract.
The former Carolina Panthers wide receiver is now with his fourth team in under a year, hoping to finally unlock the potential that made him a second-round pick back in 2021. At just 24 years old, Marshall joins a talented Eagles receiving corps led by A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, aiming to bolster the team’s depth.
Eagles GM Howie Roseman has been active this offseason, and signing Marshall represents a low-risk, high-reward opportunity. With Parris Campbell departing for the Cowboys in free agency, there’s a clear opportunity for Marshall to make his mark in training camp. Once seen as a future cornerstone in Carolina, Marshall struggled to meet expectations, recording only 64 receptions for 767 yards and a single touchdown across 36 games.
His best year came in 2022 with 490 yards and a score, but frequent changes at quarterback and offensive system instability hindered his growth.
