Following the conclusion of the 2024–25 women’s college basketball season, LSU guard Flau’jae Johnson stirred up speculation with a cryptic Instagram post thanking LSU and hinting at a major announcement. Many fans worried that she might be entering the transfer portal, especially since she hadn’t declared for the 2025 WNBA Draft.
“To Louisiana State University, I’m forever indebted for the opportunity to pursue my dreams,” Johnson wrote. “Stay tuned for a major announcement soon… 4 junior year out!”
But fans can breathe a sigh of relief—Johnson isn’t transferring. Instead, the multi-talented athlete and rapper revealed she’ll be joining BossMan DLow on the “DLow Curry Tour.”
“BIG 4 x @bossman_dlow WE IN BOSTON TONIGHT,” she posted, followed by a video announcement saying, “The moment you’ve all been waiting for… I’m joining BossMan DLow’s tour. We in Boston tonight. Pull up on me.”
Johnson is set to perform at four stops: Boston (April 13), Toronto (April 15), Denver (April 19), and Jacksonville (April 26).
Beyond her success on the court, Flau’jae has also made waves in music. Signed to Roc Nation, she’s dropped three albums, with her latest—*Flau & B*—released in February 2025. Her biggest hit to date, “Came Out A Beast,” a collaboration with Lil Wayne, has racked up millions of views and streams online.
Despite her growing music career, Johnson is expected to return to LSU for her junior season, continuing her pursuit of another national title.
