NFL Draft: Colts land home In commitment Another three-star Recruit from Rival to strengthen depth.

Justin Melo of The Draft Network reported that the Indianapolis Colts recently conducted a virtual pre-draft interview with Virginia Tech wide receiver Da’Quan Felton.

The 6’5”, 213-pound senior wide receiver, with 32 1/4-inch arms, started all 12 games in 2024 and logged 32 catches for 360 yards (averaging 11.3 yards per reception) and 2 touchdowns.

NFL.com Draft Profile Summary:

Felton is a tall, fast prospect whose lackluster production in 2024 can be attributed to a poor offensive scheme fit and inconsistent quarterback play. He moves best in a straight line and is most effective when used on deep vertical routes. However, he lacks sharpness on shorter routes and has below-average hands and limited ability after the catch. Though he doesn’t particularly excel at tracking the ball, his speed allows him to gain separation on deeper routes against corners in man coverage. Despite a disappointing final season, teams may be drawn to his physical attributes, viewing him as a developmental deep threat with potential to contribute on special teams right away.

He’s expected to be a late Day 3 draft pick, but his size-speed profile gives him upside as a late-round flyer.
