BREAKING: Blue Devils New recruit breaks silent On his return, Make Major Announcement to fans

The Duke Blue Devils advanced to the NCAA Tournament Final Four but came up just one possession short against the Houston Cougars.

In the aftermath of the season, a wave of player departures has followed.

Most of these exits are tied to the NBA Draft, which head coach Jon Scheyer anticipated given the team’s high level of talent. However, the roster received a boost this week with a key returnee’s announcement.Tyrese Proctor, DukeDarren Harris revealed he will return to Duke for his sophomore season, prompting teammate Tyrese Proctor to respond with a brief but telling message: “That time.”

Proctor’s comment suggests that Harris, a former four-star recruit, is poised to take on a leading role for the Blue Devils in the 2025–2026 season.

Standing at 6-foot-6, Harris hails from Fairfax, Virginia, and is known for his three-point shooting ability.

During his freshman year, Harris appeared in 21 games, averaging six minutes and two points per contest, with his final game coming in the NCAA Tournament’s second round.

Proctor, meanwhile, averaged 12.4 points per game and shot 45.2% from the field this season. He played a pivotal role in Duke’s ACC Tournament championship and their Final Four run. He is currently exploring his NBA Draft options.

Jon Scheyer, heading into his fourth season as Duke’s head coach, holds an overall record of 89-22 and a 48-12 mark in ACC play. Under his leadership, the Blue Devils have made the NCAA Tournament each year.
