BREAKING: Four-Star LB Shadarius Toodle has Flipped from Auburn to Georgia. Details..

Georgia made a significant move in its 2026 recruiting class on Sunday, flipping four-star linebacker Shadarius Toodle from Auburn. Toodle had been pledged to the Tigers since July 2024 but announced his new commitment to the Bulldogs via On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

“To be the best, you’ve got to play with the best,” Toodle said.

The 6-foot-3, 235-pound linebacker from Mobile, Alabama, is ranked No. 166 overall and No. 9 among linebackers nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite. He’s also the ninth-ranked prospect in Alabama for the class of 2026.

Toodle’s recruitment included visits to Georgia, Auburn, Michigan, Florida, and Baylor. He officially visited Athens in May.

This flip boosts Georgia’s already impressive 2026 class, which now includes 19 commitments and is ranked No. 4 nationally. The class is headlined by five-star quarterback Jared Curtis.
