Breaking: Massive Boost! Phillies Receives good news regarding all-star Slugger

The Philadelphia Phillies are dominating the NL East this season, and a major factor in their success is power-hitting designated hitter and left fielder, Kyle Schwarber.

Schwarber recently reached a career milestone by hitting 50 home runs for the first time and remains a strong contender in the NL MVP race.

And there’s even more good news for fans—Schwarber may not be leaving after this season, despite heading into free agency.

Schwarber Open to Staying in Philadelphia

In a recent conversation with Jon Heyman of the New York Post, Schwarber shared that he’s open to re-signing with the Phillies.

> “If something works out here, it works out here. There’s interest on both sides,” Schwarber said. “Hopefully we’re the ones lifting the trophy at the end, and then I’m sure conversations will take place.”

Team president **David Dombrowski also confirmed the club’s interest in keeping Schwarber on board.

> “We want to retain him now, and we wanted to retain him then,” Dombrowski stated.

As it stands, Schwarber boasts 50 home runs, a .242 batting average, and a league-leading 123 RBIs—numbers that continue to impress.
