Camryn Bynum Joins Indianapolis Colts
Bynum is coming off another strong season as a key member of the Minnesota Vikings defense. He played and started all 17 games under defensive coordinator Brian Flores, finishing the year with three interceptions, 10 passes defended, 96 tackles, two tackles-for-loss, and a 61.6 PFF grade—ranking 63rd out of 98 eligible players. The Vikings had a successful season, securing 14 wins before being eliminated by the Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card Round.Originally drafted by the Vikings in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Bynum began his career as a backup. As a rookie, he played in 14 games with three starts, making an impact with one interception, three passes defended, one sack, 28 tackles, one tackle-for-loss, and one quarterback hit.
His promising debut earned him a full-time starting role in 2022. Although his 58.7 PFF grade reflected some inconsistency, he delivered a solid campaign with two interceptions, six passes defended, two fumble recoveries, and 81 tackles while starting all 17 games. In 2023, he took another step forward, posting career highs with two interceptions, nine passes defended, 137 tackles, two tackles-for-loss, one quarterback hit, and a 73.2 PFF grade—ranking 21st out of 95 eligible players.
Over his career, Bynum has appeared in 65 games with 54 starts, accumulating eight interceptions, 28 passes defended, three forced fumbles, 1.5 sacks, 342 tackles, five tackles-for-loss, and two quarterback hits.
