Miami recently held a Zoom meeting with Georgia guard Silas Demary Jr., a standout junior coming off an impressive sophomore season. Demary has also engaged with Kentucky, Auburn, and UConn, while currently visiting St. John’s and planning a trip to BYU, according to Jon Rothstein. Given his strong performance—averaging 13.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.7 steals per game while shooting 37.4% from three—Demary is a sought-after prospect. He played a key role alongside freshman star Asa Newell in leading Georgia to its first NCAA Tournament appearance in a decade, scoring 15 points with four assists in their opening-round loss to Gonzaga.
