Gilas Pilipinas star  is uncertain to play in their upcoming game against the TNT Tropang GIGA on Friday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo after apparently dislocating his right thumb.

“He remains is doubtful for Game 4,” Ginebra head coach Tim Cone told ABS-CBN News on Thursday. “But he hasn’t been completely ruled out yet.”

He later headed to the locker room for further evaluation before being taken to the hospital for additional tests.

Regardless of Brownlee’s availability, Ginebra assistant coach Richard Del Rosario stressed the importance of being prepared, especially with Game 4 being a crucial matchup as they now trail the series 2-1.

“Even without Justin, we stayed competitive,” he noted. “But we don’t see it as an excuse. This is the championship—there’s no time for excuses.”
