Nebraska men’s basketball has secured its second transfer portal commitment in as many days.

Central Michigan junior forward Ugnius Jarusevicius, a 6-foot-10 native of Lithuania, has announced his commitment to the Huskers. The news was initially reported by CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.

Jarusevicius began his college career at Cal State Bakersfield, appearing in 43 games over two seasons. As a sophomore, he was named to the SoCal Challenge All-Tournament Team after scoring a combined 24 points against Sacramento State and Tarleton State.Nebraska basketball lands portal commitment from Ugnius JaruseviciusIn the most recent season with Central Michigan, he started 24 of 26 games, averaging 16.2 points and 7.3 rebounds while shooting 53.7% from the floor and 31% from beyond the arc. His performance earned him first-team All-MAC honors.

On the international stage, Jarusevicius has represented Lithuania extensively, competing in multiple age-level FIBA tournaments. Notably, he helped Lithuania secure a runner-up finish at the 2022 FIBA U20 European Championship.

He joins Pryce Sandfort as Nebraska’s newest transfer additions for the upcoming season.
