Fans of the Los Angeles Rams are calling for the return of star cornerback Jalen Ramsey. Ramsey, who made three straight Pro Bowls from 2020 to 2022 with the Rams, was traded to the Miami Dolphins after the 2022 season. Despite only playing 10 games in 2023, he still earned a Pro Bowl selection.
Originally traded to the Rams from the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019, Ramsey became a key part of their defense, even helping lead the team to a Super Bowl win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Now, with reports surfacing that the Dolphins are open to trading him, Rams fans are eager for a reunion.
Pro Football Focus recently posted potential destinations for Ramsey, including the Commanders, Rams, 49ers, Falcons, and Ravens. Among them, Rams fans were the most vocal, with many taking to social media urging the team to bring him back. Fans expressed their desire with comments like “The Rams do need him,” “Bring him home,” and “Come back to LA.”
Ramsey, who was drafted fifth overall by Jacksonville in 2016 out of Florida State, has compiled 534 tackles, 102 tackles for loss, and 24 interceptions throughout his career. He’s a seven-time Pro Bowler and currently under contract with the Dolphins through 2029, on a three-year, $72 million deal averaging $24.1 million per season.
