The 2025 NFL offseason is just getting started, but there’s already plenty of buzz around the Los Angeles Rams. The team is not only expected to trade veteran wide receiver, but may also part ways with quarterback Matthew Stafford. Meanwhile, head coach Sean McVay has finalized his coaching staff for the upcoming season, bringing in former New England Patriots offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt.
Van Pelt served as the Patriots’ offensive coordinator for one season before being replaced by Josh McDaniels as part of Mike Vrabel’s new staff. However, he quickly found a new opportunity, joining McVay’s staff in Los Angeles as a senior offensive assistant, where he will work with the defensive unit.“Rams have added former Patriots offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt to their coaching staff,” ESPN’s Adam Schefter shared in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
