Josh Hart’s wife, Shannon Hart, was unsettled by a controversial moment during her husband’s recent game against the Boston Celtics.
During Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Wednesday, a tense confrontation broke out just seconds into the second half between Knicks forward Josh Hart and Celtics forward Jaylen Brown. The two exchanged shoves before being separated by teammates.
Replay footage suggested that Brown may have grabbed Hart inappropriately, prompting Hart to immediately shove him. Brown retaliated, and the referee quickly stopped play to defuse the tension.
Both players received technical fouls. Many Knicks fans were outraged that Brown wasn’t penalized more severely for what they saw as a dirty move.
Shannon Hart was among those upset. Shortly after the game ended, she reacted to the incident with a pointed one-word response.
