Doom Strikes Giants Nation: Fans Crushed by Brutal Roster Ranking News Amidst …

Giants fans were hit with disappointing news in a recent roster ranking. Only the Tennessee Titans, New Orleans Saints, and Cleveland Browns were rated lower, leaving New York near the bottom. Still, fans can hold out hope that the Giants will outperform those struggling teams.

The Good News? There’s no doubt the New York Giants’ 2025 roster is an upgrade from last year’s dismal 3-14 team.

The Bad News for Giants Fans?

Even with improvements, they might still finish last in the NFC East — and remain among the NFL’s weakest teams.

The addition of Russell Wilson at quarterback over Daniel Jones is a step forward. The offensive lineup has improved, and the defensive front looks strong.

Still, Bleacher Report ranks the Giants as having one of the league’s worst rosters, despite what many considered a successful offseason.

“The Giants may be better than the team that went 3-14 last season, but they shouldn’t expect massive progress with a mediocre quarterback group,” B/R notes.

The reality is simple: reaching the playoffs likely requires at least 10 wins. And even with the added talent — like defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence, rookie edge rusher Abdul Carter, and wide receiver Malik Nabers catching passes from a capable QB — there are still too many weak spots on the roster to find those extra seven wins.

In Bleacher Report’s rankings, only the Titans, Saints, and Browns are placed below the Giants. So perhaps there’s hope New York can at least outperform that group.

Sure, they might win more than three games this year.

But that’s not the ultimate goal. The aim is to be good. And right now, the Giants just aren’t there yet.
