Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens is enjoying his offseason by spending quality time with his wife, Olympic gymnastics legend Simone Biles. The couple recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary, marking two years since tying the knot in 2023 after dating for three years.
To celebrate, Owens shared a touching Instagram post featuring a photo of the couple. Biles wore a white dress with red roses and a black bow, while Owens sported a white t-shirt, black pants, and a light blue overshirt. In his caption, Owens expressed his love and excitement for their future together, writing, “Two years strong and a lifetime to go. … Excited to see where life takes us next baby.”
The couple originally met on the celebrity dating app Raya. Owens proposed to Biles on Valentine’s Day, and their mutual support for each other’s careers has made them a beloved power couple. Biles, widely regarded as one of the greatest gymnasts of all time, also took to social media to mark the occasion, posting a photo of them cuddling with the caption: “2 year anniversary. I love you so fn much.”
Despite spending time apart due to their demanding careers—Biles training in Texas for the Paris Olympics and Owens previously playing for the Packers in Wisconsin—the two have remained close. Biles said she cherishes the time they now get to spend together, especially after a long-distance first year of marriage.
Reflecting on their wedding, Biles fondly recalled having all their loved ones together and added with a laugh, “You can never have too much tequila.”
As Owens gears up for another season with the Bears, fans continue to admire the couple’s strong bond and public displays of love.
