Despite Green’s standout performance, the night belonged to Curry, who made history in San Francisco by becoming the first NBA player to reach 4,000 career three-pointers. The 11-time All-Star, already the league’s all-time leader in three-pointers made, continues to rewrite the record books.
Curry received widespread praise from fellow NBA stars, but one message stood out—LeBron James took to X to congratulate his longtime rival and friend. Recovering from a groin injury, the 21-time All-Star and NBA’s all-time leading scorer shared his excitement:

The two-time MVP is averaging 24.5 points per game—the lowest in any season where he played more than five games since 2015.
Additionally, Curry is shooting 39.8% from beyond the arc, which, if it holds, would mark the first time in his 16-year career that he has shot below 40% in a season where he played more than five games.
