Lowe started in 19 of his 33 appearances during his freshman season, reaching double figures in scoring 17 times, including 16 games against ACC competition. He earned ACC Rookie of the Week honors on January 22, 2024, after averaging 18.5 points and 4.5 assists in matchups versus Syracuse and Duke. As a starter, he connected on 40.3% of his three-point attempt.
A former four-star recruit from Fort Bend Marshall High School, Lowe was the recipient of the Guy V. Lewis Award, presented to the top high school boys’ basketball player in the Greater Houston area. During his senior year, he put up averages of 26.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 3.1 steals, and 2.3 blocks, guiding his team to a 35-4 record, a berth in the 5A Region 3 finals, and a No. 3 state ranking. In 2023, he was selected to the prestigious Jordan Brand Classic Team. He also earned first team all-tournament honors at the 2022 Peach Jam, where he averaged 18.0 points, 5.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game. His godfather, John Lucas II, was the top overall pick in the 1976 NBA Draft and later had a coaching career that included head coaching roles with San Antonio, Philadelphia, and Cleveland.
Lowe retains two years of collegiate eligibility.
Dioubate, meanwhile, averaged 7.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game during the 2024–25 season for Alabama. He reached double figures in scoring 13 times and recorded five double-doubles. His top performance came in a late January win over Vanderbilt, where he tallied a career-high 22 points and 10 rebounds. He also had 10 points and a personal-best 16 rebounds in an overtime victory over Houston in November. Other standout games included a 13-point, 10-rebound, 4-assist effort against Missouri and a 12-point, 12-rebound, 2-steal outing versus Florida in the SEC Tournament. In the NCAA Tournament opener against Robert Morris, he posted 18 points and 10 boards.
Dioubate ranked third on the team in rebounds per game and was second in offensive rebounds with 70. He shot 61.7% from the field and 46.2% from three-point range. In just 16 minutes per contest, he also finished second in total steals (35) and third in blocks (25).
