LOCKED: Giants Expected To Land Another $100 Million QB Amid Aaron Rodgers Rumours

The New York Giants are emerging as a leading contender to acquire Top Talent, especially after his potential move to Los Angeles was blocked. However, they are also exploring other quarterback options, including one expected to command a $100 million contract.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Giants shifted their focus to veteran quarterbacks—Rodgers among them—after the Los Angeles Rams decided to retain Super Bowl-winning quarterback Matthew Stafford rather than trade him. The New York Jets recently announced they would part ways with Rodgers after two seasons, including a debut year lost to a torn Achilles. With Rodgers determined to return in 2025, he is expected to attract significant interest in free agency, with the Giants listed as a top contender.

However, New York is casting a wide net in its search. SNY reporter Connor Hughes revealed that the team is also considering free agent Sam Darnold. “Yes, the #Giants have discussed Aaron Rodgers. They’ve also expressed interest in Sam Darnold, I’m told,” Hughes shared on X.

Darnold, coming off a breakout season in which he led the Minnesota Vikings to a 14-3 record, is expected to command a lucrative contract. ESPN’s Dan Graziano projects a three-year, $120 million deal with $75 million guaranteed. Still, the Giants may face difficulties in attracting a high-profile quarterback to a team that is not currently viewed as a strong contender.
