Five-star wide receiver Tristen Keys remains a major target in the recruiting world despite committing to Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers back in March.
Ranked as the top wide receiver in the nation, Keys chose LSU over programs like Auburn, Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Alabama after a highly followed recruitment process.
He’s coming off a stellar junior season in which he led Hattiesburg High School to a 13-1 record, recording 58 catches for 1,275 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Even with his verbal commitment to LSU, Keys has continued to explore his options, recently visiting Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and most recently, Auburn over the past three weekends.
While LSU remains his committed school, it’s clear the nation’s No. 1 wideout is keeping the door open as he prepares for his senior year.
They’ll be battling right up to the final whistle to keep their recruiting class intact, as several top programs are trying to poach their prized commitments.
Currently, LSU boasts the nation’s best wide receiver group, featuring three committed receivers including Keys.
