Official 49ers Guard Releases Official Statement About His Career, Leaving Fans Worried

San Francisco 49ers guard, has officially announced his retirement from the NFL after nine seasons. The 33-year-old was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the fourth round (No. 128 overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft out of the University of Miami. Known for his versatility, He played both guard and center, making him a valuable asset to multiple teams throughout his career.

The Veteran began his professional journey with the Raiders (2015-2018) before joining the Buffalo Bills in 2019. In Buffalo, he established himself as a full-time starter and played a key role in protecting quarterback Josh Allen. Despite battling injuries, he remained an integral part of the offensive line over three seasons. Throughout his career, Feliciano appeared in 113 regular-season games, with 61 starts. His tenure with the Bills from 2019 to 2021 was particularly impactful, as he helped solidify their offensive line. Despite injuries affecting his later seasons, he remained a dependable presence when healthy. In his final active season in 2023, he played in 16 games for the 49ers, starting seven and participating in 48 percent of the team’s offensive snaps, per Pro Football Reference. Unfortunately, a knee injury sustained in 2024 training camp derailed his return, leading to his placement on injured reserve in November.
