Former Auburn safety Terrance Love has committed to Colorado after visiting during the team’s spring game, according to a report by On3 Sports’ Hayes Fawcett.

Love, who has two years of eligibility left, appeared in 22 games over two seasons with Auburn, mainly contributing on special teams.

The 6’2″, 200-pound safety played in 22 games for Auburn over the last two seasons.
He was considered the top safety available in the transfer portal (via On3).
Love has two years of eligibility remaining.

In the 2023 season, Love played 68 defensive snaps, recording six tackles and a pass breakup. His defensive role shrank in 2024, seeing just 34 snaps and finishing with one tackle.

A former four-star recruit from Langston Hughes High School in Atlanta, Georgia, Love ranked as the No. 34 overall prospect in Georgia and the 32nd safety in the 2023 class, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Coming out of high school, Love received offers from top programs including Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, and many others.

He will join a Colorado safety unit featuring Carter Stoutmire, along with spring standouts Tawfiq Byard and TJ Branch.

Love becomes Colorado’s fourth transfer pickup this spring, joining Illinois State cornerback Teon Parks, Memphis offensive lineman Xavier Hill, and Campbell wide receiver Sincere Brown.
