SHOCKING TWIST: Right-Handed pitcher Stuns Coach And Franchise Rejects Massive Deal Flips Commitment To Dodgers Over Rivals

The Los Angeles Dodgers have brought up right-handed pitcher Noah Davis from Triple-A Oklahoma City ahead of Friday’s series opener against the Texas Rangers, reinforcing their bullpen.

This move follows the team’s decision to option Bobby Miller on Thursday, making Davis the corresponding roster addition. Davis has had a rough start this season in Triple-A, posting a 7.94 ERA with nine strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

Davis, 27, was picked in the 11th round of the 2018 draft by the Cincinnati Reds. He later landed with the Colorado Rockies in a 2021 trade and made his MLB debut the following year. Over three seasons with Colorado, he recorded a 7.71 ERA with 43 strikeouts and 23 walks in 51.1 innings.Dodgers Make Surprising Roster Move to Bolster Bullpen | Dodgers NationAhead of Opening Day, the Dodgers acquired Davis from the Boston Red Sox in exchange for cash. He had originally signed with Boston on a minor league contract this offseason and registered a 4.82 ERA in 9.1 innings during spring training.

Though initially seen as organizational depth, injuries in the Dodgers’ pitching staff have opened the door for Davis to make an impact with the big-league club. Now, he’ll look to make the most of his opportunity out of the Dodgers’ bullpen.
