Kansas State quarterback has emerged as one of the most dynamic dual-threat players in college football, gaining attention both on the field and in the NIL landscape. His growing brand recently expanded with another endorsement deal.
Johnson has teamed up with Bev-Hub, a beverage manufacturer based in Manhattan, Kansas, to launch his own strawberry lemonade. Branded as “The Avery Johnson Strawberry Lemonade,” the drink is marketed as a refreshing, low-calorie, and low-sugar alternative to traditional soft drinks. Featuring his image on the can, the product is set to hit shelves in regional Midwest grocery stores this week.“This is an exciting opportunity for me,” Johnson shared in a statement. “Not long ago, I was a young athlete in Wichita, Kansas, dreaming big. Having the chance to create my own branded soft drink is truly special, and I hope it inspires young athletes in Kansas and beyond to believe that their dreams can become reality.”
Johnson has become a marketing sensation in an unexpected setting. Currently ranked as the 29th highest NIL earner, according to On3’s latest valuation, his signature drink is another innovative addition to his endorsement portfolio. Last year, he also received a lavender Chevrolet Corvette from a local car dealership.
On the field, Johnson led Kansas State to a 9-4 record last season, amassing 3,317 total yards and 32 touchdowns, solidifying himself as one of the Big 12’s top returning quarterbacks. The Wildcats will kick off their 2025 season with a rare conference matchup against Iowa State in Dublin, Ireland, on August 23.
