The Homecoming: Giants Bolstered Their Roster With Commitment Of Former Star And Broncos WR On A 1-Year Deal

The Giants have bolstered their receiving corps.

The 26-year-old receiver entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent from Texas in 2019. He spent his first three seasons with the Saints before joining the Patriots in 2022. He played in all 17 games, starting seven, and took part in 50 percent of the team’s offensive snaps.

Humphrey appeared in every game for the Broncos over the past two seasons, starting a career-high eight games in 2023 and seven in 2024. He set personal records this past season with 31 receptions and 293 receiving yards.

During his three seasons at the University of Texas (2016-18), Humphrey played in 36 games, starting 18, and totaled 125 receptions for 1,622 yards and 10 touchdowns. As a junior, he recorded 1,176 receiving yards—the third-highest single-season total in program history at the time. Prior to college, he starred at Southlake Carroll High School in Texas, earning all-state honors twice.
