Free agent nose tackle Leki Fotu has reached an agreement with the Raiders, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media.
The 26-year-old recently visited both the Raiders and Bills.
Originally drafted by the Cardinals in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Fotu spent his first four seasons in Arizona. He played in 56 games, starting 21 of them.
During his time with the Cardinals, he recorded 89 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, seven quarterback hits, 3.5 sacks, three passes defended, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
Last year, Fotu joined the Jets as a free agent but saw limited action, appearing in just two games with one start and registering three tackles.The Raiders continue to make low-key additions to their roster, with their latest signing being former Cardinals and Jets defensive tackle Leki Fotu.
Originally drafted by the Cardinals in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Utah, Fotu spent last season with the Jets but suffered an injury in his second game. In his final full season with Arizona, he recorded career highs in sacks (2.5), tackles for loss (five), and solo tackles (15), totaling 28 combined tackles.
Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 335 pounds, Fotu has played in 58 career games, including 22 starts, while lining up at both nose tackle and defensive tackle. He is expected to compete for snaps at nose tackle alongside Jonah Laulu, providing depth behind starters Christian Wilkins and company.
