The Baltimore Ravens have signed veteran cornerback to a one-year contract. He, previously with the Tennessee Titans, originally inked a three-year, $36 million deal with them in 2024. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Tennessee is still paying him $7.5 million for the 2025 season. The cornerback joined Baltimore on a minimum contract, making it a low-risk move for the Ravens.
An eight-year NFL veteran, was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Colorado. He has started 81 career games, recording seven interceptions. After playing for Dallas from 2017 to 2020, he signed a three-year, $21.75 million contract with the Cincinnati Bengals, where he completed his deal before joining the Titans last offseason.In 2024, Awuzie appeared in eight games for Tennessee, starting seven. He tallied 26 tackles, one interception, and four pass deflections but missed nine games due to a groin injury. Now with Baltimore, he adds depth and experience to a secondary that struggled last season, allowing the second-most passing yards (4,468) in the league.
